My Background
My career started in IT — specifically the domain name and web hosting industry. I spent years working in SEO and PPC marketing, learning firsthand how digital presence can make or break a business. How to get found online in Melbourne and nationally, generate leads, and build a digital footprint that actually works.
Then I made the jump into business ownership. I purchased and rebranded a cafe, built a catering operation from the ground up in Melbourne, and grew it into a large-scale business managing over 170 staff. I've hired, fired, restructured, recovered from near failure, and scaled — all within a single business over 13 years.
I've been the person working 70-hour weeks not making enough money. I've sat across the table from a Melbourne business owner whose numbers didn't add up and helped them rebuild from scratch. I've navigated the chaos of rapid growth and the grind of stabilising an operation that was falling apart.
